The Throwdown Surf School Team is the total package! When Cara found out my family was spending most of the summer on the Outer Banks, she recommended I check out surf lessons for my kids. I had a million questions and she had prompt answers. I’ve known and admired Cara for a long time, so I was excited to hang out with my friend while my children were entertained in the water. Then I met her husband, Greg. I cannot stress how much I appreciate and admire the patience of Greg and Jason as they taught my family how to surf. My kids caught waves! They were bitten by the surf bug and we immediately signed up for more lessons. In fact, my son chose to spend his 13th birthday participating in the Throwdown Surf Classic, where, once again, Greg was a lifesaver as this mama was getting thrown around in red flag waves! But what really stands out to me is Greg and Cara’s faith. That’s what really makes Throwdown Surf School separate from the rest. Their faith in God shines both in their business practice and in their interactions with the students. Greg’s passion for surfing and encouraging teaching skills has inspired us to continue the surfing saga right down to a new surfboard showing up by the tree on Christmas morning! We look forward to Summer 2018 when we can get back out there and ride the waves (with additional lessons from Greg, of course). Thank you, Throwdown Surf School!
